TNT will present coverage of the Champions League group stage for the first time this evening.
TNT Sports is officially the new name of BT Sport, having launched in the UK and Republic of Ireland back in July.
The creation of a new brand follows last year’s acquisition of BT Sport by Warner Brothers Discovery, who also own Eurosport, in a deal worth up to £650million.
They will continue to present the same sports rights previously carried by BT Sport – which includes the Champions League, Premier League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League and much more.

Who is hosting TNT’s coverage tonight?
After Jake Humphrey announced that he was going to ‘step back’ from his role as the main anchor at BT Sport after 10 years, popular presenter Laura Woods will now lead TNT’s Champions League coverage this season.
Woods is set to be the leader of an all-female line-up, presenting the Premier League and Champions League this season.
Reshmin Chowdhury, Lynsey Hipgrave and Jules Breach will also play a major role in TNT Sports’ coverage following Humphrey’s departure.
Rio Ferdinand, Peter Crouch and Joe Cole as well as the likes of Owen Hargreaves, Steve McManaman, Michael Owen and Paul Scholes are all set to be a part of the punditry team.
Darren Fletcher, Adam Summerton and Lucy Ward are all set to be part of the commentary teams – with Fletcher expected to be on duty this evening.

How much does TNT Sport cost?
Fans wanting to subscribe to TNT Sports directly through discovery+ will have to pay £29.99 per month, the same as was previously charged for the BT Sport Monthly Pass.
Customers who have subscribed to a BT Sport Monthly Pass prior to July 18 will be able to continue to enjoy the service as normal via the BT Sport app until it ceases.
TNT Sports will then be available to stream via the discovery+ platform.

Champions League group stage schedule
The first matchday of the 2023-24 Champions League group stage will take place on the 19/20 of September.
Newcastle will begin their Champions League group stage with a trip to Serie A giants AC Milan.
Reigning champions Manchester City begin with a home game against Red Star Belgrade, while Erik ten Hag’s United face a tough trip to Bayern Munich in their opening game.

On their return to the competition, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal face PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates.
This season’s group stage will draw to a close on December 13.

- Matchday 3: 24/25 October 2023
