Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag are set for a face-to-face meeting on Monday, with the winger’s Manchester United future hanging in the balance.

The relationship between the two men has been heavily strained after public criticism from both sides following Manchester United’s defeat to Arsenal last weekend.
After the 3-1 loss at Emirates Stadium, Ten Hag said Sancho had not been in the squad due to his performances in training.
‘Ten Hag explained why Sancho was left out in his post-match press conference, telling reporters: ‘On his performance on training we didn’t select him. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. You can make choices in the front line, so in this game he wasn’t selected.’
Sancho dramatically fired back on social media, writing: ‘I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.
‘I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!’
Both have been away from the club during the international break but will have a face-to-face meeting on Monday, reports The Telegraph.
Sancho’s outburst reportedly infuriated Ten Hag and there may be no way back for the England international at the club even if he apologises to the Dutchman.
The Red Devils were already willing to accept offers for the winger over the summer, but no substantial bids came in.
United were in talks with Al-Ettifaq over a possible loan exit for Sancho this week, but the Saudi Pro League side could not strike a deal with the club.
Prior to the defeat to Arsenal Sancho had come off the bench in the first three Premier League games of Manchester United’s season.
Manchester United return to action after the international break with a Premier League clash against Brighton at Old Trafford on 16 December, before beginning their Champions League campaign at Bayern Munich four days later.
