PSG star Kylian Mbappe spotted limping at airport ahead of Man City second leg

Paris Saint-Germain have already experienced Champions League heartache after they fell at the last hurdle in last season's tournament, losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich in the final.

Neymar has previously vowed he HAS to win the tournament next time he gets that close, but the Brazilian may miss out on reaching this year's final altogether as his PSG side have a mountain to climb at the Etihad against Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Marquinhos' first half header had City fearing the worst, as PSG strut forward time after time in the first half, though they failed to capitalise on their momentum.

The French giants were made to pay for their wastefulness, as two second half goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez helped City creep ever closer to the Champions League final.

The situation gets worse for PSG, after superstar Kylian Mbappe was spotted limping into the airport as his side made their way to Manchester.

Though the forward struggled to have much of an impact on proceedings in the first leg, but with Mauricio Pochettino's side needing to score at least twice – Mbappe's absence could prove costly.

The 22-year-old is enjoying his best season in the Champions League thus far, notching eight goals in ten games thus far. Mbappe was handed a rest over the weekend, instead watching his teammates win 2-1 to keep the pressure on league leaders Lille.

Pochettino was asked about his leading marksman's fitness by reporters after the game, and he revealed: “I am optimistic [over him playing vs City], I still am, we think he will be there. We will make a decision before the match but I am optimistic.”

The other half of PSG's deadly duo in Neymar got a full 90 minutes under his belt, while Angel Di Maria was an unused substitute.
