Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Amad could make his full Manchester United debut in next week’s second leg against Real Sociedad. The last-32 tie is all but over after a scintillating display earned them a 4-0 victory.
The Spaniards were arguably the toughest tie United could have been handed, with Sociedad chasing a Champions League place in La Liga.
But the Red Devils were at their counter-attacking best to take a commanding lead into next week’s home tie.
Goals from Bruno Fernandes (x2) and Marcus Rashford put United three up after the hour mark and allowed Solskjaer to ring the changes in the closing stages.
The fourth and final of those saw 18-year-old Amad make his senior debut following his January transfer.

The winger completed his switch from Atalanta at the start of last month, in a deal that could reach £37million.
Since his move, Amad has been training with the first-team, but playing with the Under-23s, where he has six goal involvements in just two games.
And after impressing in his brief cameo, Solskjaer suggested there was a chance he could make his first start at Old Trafford next Thursday.
“He is getting closer and closer to more minutes. With the scoreline at 3-0 we thought we could send him out there,” Solskjaer said after the win in Turin.
Asked if he could start in the second leg, he added: “We’ll make a decision on that after Newcastle.

“He’s had a couple of games in the reserves. We’ll take it lightly.
“There’s still a few players that were on the bench tonight that will want to start of course, but Amad is getting closer. We’ll see how much game time he’ll get.”
United legend Paul Scholes saw glimpses of talent from winger and believes he will be a good addition to the squad.
“We didn’t see too much of him tonight, did we?” he said, during BT Sport’s coverage of the game.
“”He looks a talented player, I watched the Under-23s last week and he scored a goal and made a couple.
“He’s got real talent, got a nice left foot. Is he quick? I’m not too sure, I haven’t seen that yet.
“I think he’s a creative player, still a young player at 18, but give him time and hopefully he’ll do well for us.”
Meanwhile, fellow ex-Red Devil Owen Hargreaves believes that despite being a youngster, due to his transfer fee, United bosses will want to see an impact from Amad.
“Well, I think when you sign players for that amount of money, you want them to have an impact.
“They obviously believe in him and that’s why he was on the bench tonight and came on. Martial and Rashford are setting the levels of what it means, but for the money they paid, they’re going to want a pretty significant impact.
“For Jadon Sancho, that category of player is already established, but Amad is at the start. Hopefully he’s a special one for the future.”
