The 21-year-old had enjoyed a successful summer with Lee Carsley’s side, appearing in all of their games at the European U21 Championship, to help the side claim victory at the tournament.
But Mauricio Pochettino revealed that he was one of several players to return from September’s international break after having picked up an injury.
‘Noni [Madueke] came from the national team with a muscle problem,’ the Blues manager said earlier this week, according to the Evening Standard.
