Noel Gallagher has revealed the fascinating encounter he shared with footballing legend Ronaldo Nazario in an Ibiza nightclub.
The former Oasis singer is a massive Manchester City fan and was pictured celebrating with the players after their treble-winning triumph last season.
But, it was his encounter with a Brazilian footballing great that has surprised footballing fans.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, Gallagher said he met Ronaldo during his ‘hardcore’ rave days in Ibiza.
‘I met him in DC10 in Ibiza, anyone who’s listening to this will know that DC10 is hardcore,’ he said.

‘He was kind of in the side of the club and he had a baseball cap and I was like “I’m sure that’s Ronaldo”.
‘So I went over to him and I went, “Are you Ronaldo?’ And he went, “I am the real Ronaldo”. I was like, “Mate…”
‘He was great and I’ve bumped into him a couple of times at the Etihad and he was brilliant, a real placid kind of guy, there doesn’t seem to be any ego about him at all.’
Playing for sides such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan – Ronaldo is considered to be one of the all-time greatest players.
Scoring 298 goals in 454 competitive appearances, he has won UEFA Cup titles and two World Cups with Brazil.
He is also one of five players to have won the Ballon d’Or on two occasions in 1997 and 2002.
