Arsenal are playing a ‘dangerous’ game by rotating David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale, suggests Mauricio Pochettino

Mauricio Pochettino has suggested Mikel Arteta is playing a dangerous game by alternating between his two main goalkeepers David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale.
The Arsenal manager has switched between the two in recent games and suggests neither of them is an automatic first choice.
But Pochettino says it is ‘a dangerous game’ having experienced a similar situation at Paris St Germain, where he tried to alternate between Gianluigi Donnarumma and Keylor Navas.
‘In Paris we had two top keepers and used to play two games with Donnarumma and then two games with Navas.
‘It’s possible but it’s dangerous. Is it good or bad? I don’t know. It depends on the result.

‘It also depends on the profile and characteristics of the players, professionally and personally. What I prefer is to have the best players, those who can be compatible.
‘It’s good for every club to have defined who is the number one. But in football, coaches want to have different profiles on the squad.
‘And then it’s about how the player who is not going to play accepts being number two.’
