Scouts from a number of Premier League clubs were in attendance as Mason Greenwood scored for Getafe on Saturday.
The strike, a thunderous blast from the edge of the box to bring Getafe level during their 2-1 win over Almeria, was the Manchester United loanee's fourth goal since arriving at the Spanish club in September after plans to reintegrate him into the United set-up sparked a fierce public backlash.
Getafe are keen to extend Greenwood's loan, which runs until the end of the season, though the Red Devils are understandably eager to get the 22-year-old off their books. They'll look to sell him in the summer if they can find a buyer, and according to Spanish outlet AS, several English clubs are considering a move.

Greenwood's return to football this season came after a number of criminal charges against him were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service earlier in the year following the withdrawal of key witnesses. United subsequently launched an internal investigation into the matter, eventually concluding that the player needed to leave Old Trafford.
In a statement, United said that Greenwood "made mistakes which he is taking responsibility for" but there are "difficulties with him recommencing his career" at the club. The England international is, however, under contract until 2025 and the 13-time Premier League champions are still hoping to make some money off the youngster.

Greenwood has scored just twice in 10 La Liga appearances this season, but Getafe have been in good form since his arrival. He has tasted defeat just once since moving to Spain, and his team are currently on a nine-game unbeaten run in the league.
Rival fans haven't taken too kindly to the move, however. In games against both Osasuna and Athletic Bilbao, supporters have been heard chanting "Greenwood, die", prompting criticism from league officials.

At United, Greenwood netted 35 goals in 129 games. He broke into the first team in 2019 aged just 17, and looked destined to become a club icon prior to his arrest in 2022. He also played once for England, coming on as a second-half substitute against Iceland in 2020.
