Man Utd transfer news round-up as Juventus winger eyed and Rice talks discussed

Manchester United officials are making plans for what will be Ed Woodward's final summer transfer window as executive vice-chairman.

The Red Devils are eager to bring in a new centre-forward and centre-back this summer, while a new defensive midfielder is also on the agenda.

Woodward will leave his role at the end of the year, and has one final chance to adhere himself to supporters by investing in new talent in the transfer window.

United are set to be cautious with their spending, however, and it remains possible that they will have to offload players in order to fund some aspects of their business.

Here are the latest Man Utd transfer rumours.

United are believed to be interested in signing West Ham's Declan Rice, and it seems the midfielder is intrigued by the interest.

Rumours circulated during the recent international break that Rice had spoken with United players about the club, something Darren Fletcher appeared to confirm during last week's fan Q&A.

The minutes from the Q&A read: "Darren noted that they had heard that from players going away with England [and] other national teams that people have started to ask questions about Manchester United again."

United urged to complete double swoop

United have been urged to sign Jack Grealish and Harary Kane this summer by Luke Chadwick in order to turn Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad into title contenders.

The Red Devils were interested in Grealish last year and could reignite their interest this time around.

And Kane could be on the move following yet another trophy-less season at Tottenham, with Chadwick urging the Red Devils to make a move.

Juventus winger approach

Reports in Italy claim United have approached Juventus over the availability of Dejan Kulusevski.

The 21-year-old recently signed a new contract until 2025, having been watched by United as an alternative to Jadon Sancho last year.

However, it now seems that he'll be the subject of interest from them again, though they are some way off making a formal bid.
