Manchester United were shown a glimpse of what they're missing out on as Borussia Dortmund thrashed Holsten Kiel 5-0 to reach the German Cup final.
United target Erling Haaland was missing through injury – but two other stars linked with the Premier League giants helped set up a showdown with RB Leipzig.
Jadon Sancho set up two of Dortmund's goals – including one for fellow England youngster Jude Bellingham.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side could renew their interest in Sancho this summer with the winger in impressive form – while they also wanted Bellingham before the teenage star headed for the Bundesliga.
And it was the link-up between the two that provided arguably the moment of the match.
Playing on the left wing, Sancho found his way into the penalty area with a mazy run, bamboozling Kiel's defenders through a series of one-twos with his team-mates.
He then laid the ball off behind him for Bellingham, who fired home with a deflected first-time shot to complete the scoring for Dortmund .
Sancho had set up the first of Giovanni Reyna's two goals which opened the scoring, with Marco Reus and Thorgan Hazard also on target before Bellingham's strike made it 5-0 just 41 minutes into the match.
It was the first time a team had ever scored five goals in the first half of a German Cup semi-final.
Meanwhile, United have been given fresh hope they could sign Sancho after Dortmund revealed there is a 'gentleman's agreement' which means he can leave this summer.
But sporting director Michael Zorc has warned there is no such agreement with star striker Haaland.
The Red Devils wanted Sancho in last summer's transfer window, but didn't meet Dortmund's £108million asking price.
"We already had a gentlemen’s agreement with Jadon last year that he can switch under certain conditions," Zorc told ARD . "He’s been with us for a couple of years. However, this agreement does not exist with Erling."

Zorc's comments indicate that Sancho could be available – but only be for the right price.
However, that price could be less than last summer – with Sport1 claiming Dortmund would be prepared to accept less than €100m (£87m).
Sancho has scored 12 goals and notched 18 assists in all competitions for the Bundesliga side this season, and could still be a solution to United's right-wing.
Meanwhile, Bellingham's goal on Saturday was his fifth for Dortmund, and the 17-year-old is sure to remain on the Red Devils' radar as his progress continues.
