Alex Telles looks set to make his Manchester United debut against Newcastle after being spotted arriving at the Lowry Hotel on Thursday. Telles emerged as a top target for United in the final few weeks of the European transfer window and were locked in negotiations with Porto over a fee.
A deal was eventually all agreed on deadline day, worth £15million.
Telles was unable to train with some of his new team-mates straight away though as he jetted off with Brazil’s national team to face Bolivia and Peru.
He played in both World Cup qualification matches and came through the games unscathed.
Some players are still on their way back from international duty but Telles has already begun working with his new team-mates at the Trafford Training Centre.

And it appears as though Telles is ready to make his debut for United after being spotted arriving at the team’s usual matchday hotel.
United usually spend the night before an away game at the luxurious Lowry hotel, but Telles is already there a day early.
He could well be staying there on a temporary basis until he finds some permanent accommodation, much like Jose Mourinho did during his time in charge at Old Trafford.
Telles comes in and adds more attacking threat on the left-side of defence.

And speaking after his move was announced, the 27-year-old made it clear that he hopes to help United in their hunt for trophies.
“To join a club with the prestige of Manchester United is a huge honour,” he said.
“You have to work hard to get to this moment in your career and now I am coming to this club, I can promise that I will give everything in my heart to be a success here.
“I won many trophies at FC Porto and I want to continue that at United.
“The manager has a clear plan and direction for this team and I can’t wait to pull on the famous shirt.”
And Solskjaer is confident Telles can hit the ground running at Old Trafford.
“First and foremost, I welcome Alex to United,” the United boss said. “He is a player we have been tracking for some time and his performances over the past few years are exactly what we are looking for.
“He is a fighter and a winner and will add real determination and competition to the squad.
“Alex has the qualities, both as a player and as a person, that we want here at Manchester United.”
