Milner came off the bench to play the last 13 minutes of Brighton’s 3-1 win over United at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The 37-year-old has claimed the status as United’s worst-ever opponent for himself, going ahead of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and former Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and City forward Nicolas Anelka.
According to Opta, the versatile midfielder also has the joint-most away wins against United with six and is the first player to have won at Old Trafford with four different clubs – Aston Villa, City, Liverpool and now Brighton.
In total, Milner has played United 35 times in the Premier League – 11 wins, 10 draws and 14 losses – scoring three goals and creating four assists.
After trophy-laden spells with United’s biggest rivals, the former England international moved to the Amex on a free over the summer.
He’s made a good start at his new new club, playing a part in all five opening games of the campaign, with Brighton winning four of them to go fourth in the table.
He’ll be in line to feature in the Seagulls’ first-ever European game on Thursday when they host AEK Athens in the Europa League.
