Korean pop stars STAYC were invited to a tour Rangers’ stadium after the group mistakenly wore a retro club kit during a gig in Dallas last month.
The six-piece girl group had attempted to win over the crowd during the US leg of their World Tour.
STAYC, pronounced Stacey, planned to wear the kit of local baseball team Texas Rangers, who were playing in Major League Baseball’s World Series.
A mix-up instead saw the group appear on stage in a shirt from Glasgow Rangers 1996/97 season, worn by legends such as Paul Gascoigne and Brian Laudrup as the club won their ninth league title in a row.
STAYC trimmed down the McEwan’s Lager sponsored shirt in the style of a crop top.
