Borussia Dortmund's asking price for Jadon Sancho has been slashed, raising questions over a possible summer transfer.
The England international came close to joining Manchester United last summer, though the Red Devils were eventually put off by Dortmund's £110million valuation.
But it is now understood that Sancho could be available for a price of £78m, according to a recent report from SPORT.
Liverpool have emerged as potential candidates to sign the 21-year-old, particularly with Mohamed Salah's future up in the air.
We have taken a look at how the Reds could line-up in 2021/22 should Sancho make the move to Anfield, with Salah heading in the opposite direction.
An area of the pitch Jurgen Klopp does not need to worry about.
Although the Brazilian has appeared shaky at times this season, he remains an outstanding goalkeeper and one of the very best in the Premier League.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold
Like Alisson, some supporters have questioned the form of Alexander-Arnold this campaign.
It's clear that the 22-year-old has not been at his usual brilliant best but his attacking output and passing ability makes him an integral member of the Liverpool side.
A move into midfield remains an option, though it's likely the youngster will remain in defence for the time being.
CB: Ibrahima Konate
The RB Leipzig defender is a transfer target for the Reds and is expected to make the move to Anfield this summer.
In what could prove to be an exciting addition to the squad, Joe Gomez could face a battle on his hands to reclaim his place in the starting line-up.
Konate has attracted widespread interest among European clubs after impressing in the Bundesliga.
CB: Virgil van Dijk
How Liverpool have missed Virgil van Dijk.
The Dutch colossus has not featured for the club since being on the receiving end of a late Jordan Pickford challenge in a 2-2 draw with Everton in October.
Van Dijk is recovering well from his ACL injury and is expected to make a full return in time for the new season.
LB: Andrew Robertson
It would take something special for Andrew Robertson to lose his place in the Liverpool team.
The Scottish full-back has continued to impress in a testing season for the club and is certain to be featuring each week for the Reds.
Although Fabinho adjusted well to his centre-back role this term, he is wasted in defence.
The Brazilian has proven on countless occasions just how effective he is at breaking up play in midfield and his influence cannot be underestimated.
Thiago's debut season at Anfield has, perhaps, not panned out in the way many had imagined.
The former Bayern Munich midfielder has demonstrated his elegant nature at times and eye for a defence-splitting pass, but there is still a lot more to come from the 30-year-old.
CM: Yves Bissouma

It appears increasingly likely that Georginio Wijnaldum will leave Liverpool this summer, paving the way for a new arrival.
Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma has been touted as a possible replacement and would be a sold addition to the side.
RW: Jadon Sancho
If the Reds lose Salah this summer, Sancho would slot perfectly into the Liverpool attack.
The English youngster has shown just what he is capable of in the Bundesliga and could now be ready for a new challenge.
CF: Diogo Jota
Roberto Firmino's output has slowly been decreasing in the last three years at Liverpool, and it's time he was taken out of the first-team.
Diogo Jota has been an excellent signing for the Reds and would be more than capable of leading the line.
LW: Sadio Mane
It has been a poor season by Sadio Mane's standard, but the Senegalese forward has the quality to bounce back next year.
Mane has been wasteful in the final third but it's difficult to see the 29-year-old failing to reach high standards for a second successive campaign.
