Liverpool and Chelsea will meet each other at Wembley for the second time in less than three months when they battle it out for FA Cup glory on Saturday afternoon.

The two Premier League sides played out an enthralling Carabao Cup final in February, with Jurgen Klopp’s side emerging victorious following an epic penalty shootout. 

As a result, Chelsea will be out for revenge as they look to transform their frustrating season into a successful one and end Liverpool’s hopes of an unprecedented quadruple.

Liverpool and Chelsea will go head-to-head once against in the FA Cup final on Saturday

Jose Mourinho won his first trophy for Chelsea as the Blues defeated Rafa Benitez’s Liverpool. Steven Gerrard scored an own goal in normal time and the game went into extra time.

Chelsea came out on top through goals from Mateja Kezman and Didier Drogba. Mourinho infamously shushed the Liverpool fans.

After goals from Ramires and Drogba gave Chelsea the lead, Andy Carroll pulled one back for Liverpool. Carroll’s late header was judged to have not crossed the line.

UEFA Super Cup, Istanbul

In Istanbul a Sadio Mane brace put Liverpool in front in extra time after Olivier Giroud’s opener. 

Jorginho equalised from the spot, before Adrian saved from Tammy Abraham in the penalty shoot-out handing victory to Liverpool.
