Eden Hazard finally makes decision on Chelsea future

Eden Hazard is reportedly ready to sign a new deal at Chelsea – which would make him the highest-paid player in Blues history.

The Belgian continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid after a flying start to the season which has seen him score eight times in 10 games in all competitions.

He has helped Chelsea to an unbeaten start to the campaign and they sit second in the Premier League, level on points with leaders Manchester City and third-placed Liverpool .

But despite courting interest from Los Blancos in the past, Gazzetta dello Sport say Hazard is ready to pen fresh terms on a bumper new contract at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard has publicly insisted he is happy with the Blues and would readily see out his career in west London.

"I can finish with Chelsea," he told Sky Sports ahead of Sunday’s clash against Manchester United .

"No problem at all. I am very happy with this club, with the team, my family is happy here. So If I don’t go to Spain, it is not a problem.

"I love the fans – I think the fans love me. What happens in the future, I will be happy, so that’s it."
