Alan Shearer unleashed an F-word rant after Newcastle were denied a victory against PSG in the Champions League.
After leading 1-0 from the first-half thanks to Alexander Isak's first goal in the competition which he claimed after Gianluigi Donnarumma's blunder, the Magpies looked set for a second win against the Ligue 1 champions this season.
However, the French side were handed a penalty in the final minutes of the game as a VAR check on a potential handball from Tino Livramento was confirmed by referee Szymon Marciniak who went to the pitchside monitor to view the infraction despite the ball hitting the teenager's chest first before hitting his arm.

Kylian Mbappe dispatched the penalty past Nick Pope with ease as PSG rose to second in the group while Newcastle dropped to third as in order to qualify for the knockout stages, they must defeat AC Milan in their final game and need PSG to either lose or draw against leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Club legend Shearer was noticeably angered with the decision to grant the penalty as he took to X (formerly Twitter) and posted: "Do me a f***ing favour man. What a load of s***. #VAR".

The Geordie's views were backed up by former Soccer Saturday host Jeff Stelling who replied: "Officials ruining the game Al. Makes me feel like stopping watching" to which the Premier League record goalscorer responded with: "Awful man".
Shearer – who spent 10 years at his boyhood club – made sure to praise the Newcastle players for their performance as he added: "A superb battling away performance from every single player. Shouldn’t be spoilt by a disgusting decision. Well done @NUFC."
Despite an impressive performance from Newcastle, it's a demoralising draw for the club who now face an uphill battle to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League. Their European campaign – a first in 20 years for the Magpies – started off with a less-than-exciting 0-0 draw with AC Milan at the San Siro but they followed that up with a stunning 4-1 win of PSG at St James' Park last month.
