In a game so often decided by such fine margins, Sunday's top of the table clash between Liverpool and Man Utd promises to be another tight and tense affair.
United leapfrogged their rivals on Tuesday to go top of the Premier League table, but know they face a Liverpool side desperate to get back to winning ways.
Given Liverpool's indifferent form and question marks over Joel Matip's fitness, coupled with United's new-found status as league leaders, both sides would perhaps each be content to settle for a point.
But Dimitar Berbatov has warned Liverpool's defence they face a difficult task keeping tabs on the significant threat posed by United striker Edinson Cavani.
"I think it's going to be an even game, both teams have got a strong attacking force with very quick players upfront in [Mohamed] Salah, [Sadio] Mane, [Anthony] Martial and [Marcus] Rashford," Berbatov told Betfair .
"I think if Cavani is going to play he has that experience and intelligence to know how to unlock a defence like Liverpool and he can be a big weapon.
"If [Paul] Pogba continues like he did in the last game, with that desire to get up and down the pitch with his big strides, technique and vision, then he will also cause problems."
Cavani has silenced some of his early doubters following his arrival, adding a fresh dimension to United's attack.
His contribution, particularly in the games against Southampton and Leicester, have helped lift United into serious contention.
Pogba too has enjoyed a run of good form and looks back to his best.
United's issue is arguably whether their own defence can deal with Liverpool's three-pronged strike force of Mane, Salah and Roberto Firmino.

And Berbatov feels Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will just largely be focusing on leaving Anfield still top of the pile.
"At the back, as long as United don't overcomplicate things, play simple, take the ball and give it to someone else with one or two touches then I think United will be okay," Berbatov added.
"In my opinion, it's more important for United not to lose, one point can be a big difference at the end of the season and it can make you champions."
