Cristiano Ronaldo ‘tells Juventus’ to sign Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos after development

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo to sign Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos. The Spain international’s contract at the Bernabeu expires at the end of the campaign. And, as well as the Serie A giants, Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on the Los Blancos icon.

Ramos has been at Real Madrid ever since moving from Sevilla back in the summer transfer window of 2004.

The Spain international has become a Bernabeu icon during that time, with only Raul, Iker Casillas and Manuel Sanchis making more appearances.

Ramos has won the lot, too, including five La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns.

With the player’s contract expiring at the end of the campaign, however, talk of a move away from Real has arisen.

And OK Diario claim that Ronaldo has told Juventus to sign Ramos, with the pair recently reconciling after a year-long feud.

The pair didn’t talk for 12 months after Luka Modric won the Ballon d’Or but, recently, put their differences aside.

And, now, a stunning reunion could be on the cards.

Ramos posted a glowing tribute to Ronaldo when the 35-year-old left Real Madrid for Juventus two years ago, saying on Instagram: “Cristiano, your goals, your numbers and everything we’ve won together speak for themselves.

“You’ve earned a special place in the history of Real Madrid.

“As Madridistas we’ll remember you always. It’s been a pleasure to play alongside you, bicho. Big hug and good luck.”

Juventus boss Pirlo has been blown away by Ronaldo since taking over and recently said: “Ronaldo works very hard. He brings enthusiasm. You can notice it on the pitch as well.

“He started the season really well, I hope he will keep doing like this until the end of the season.”

Ronaldo opened up on the possibility of retirement back in December.

And he hinted he’d be interested in pursuing a career in acting, saying: “Several years ago, the age of playing football was until 30-32, but now, you find those who are 40 years old playing on the field.

“The moment my body is no longer responding in the right way on the field, then it would be the time to leave.

“My success in my field is the result of hard work, and a way of living.

“I work continuously to improve my mental and physical abilities. I aspire to continue my studies after retiring from football.

“I hope I live more than 50 years to learn new things and face different challenges and try to find solutions for them.

“One of the things that I seek to challenge myself in, for example, is acting in a movie.

“I always recommend learning all that is new. This is what I always strive for. I always seek to educate myself, because my studies tend to answer many of the questions on my mind.

“We have to learn the best of others, and this is an important part in helping me achieve what I have reached now.”
