Cristiano Ronaldo is already "pushing everyone" in training after returning to Manchester United this week, says Red Devils midfielder Fred.
Ronaldo, 36, is back for a second spell at Old Trafford 12 years after departing to join Real Madrid, snubbing interest from neighbours Manchester City to re-sign for the club on a two-year deal.
On Tuesday he arrived at Carrington to meet former team-mate turned boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and train with his new colleagues for the first time ahead of this weekend's clash with Newcastle.
And despite only spending four days with the group, Fred insists the Portugal captain is already showing his leadership qualities.
"It's so good training with Cristiano, he is a very good guy, the best player you know about," he told United's official website.
"We are so happy to have Cristiano here with us, and I hope he can bring us any titles at Manchester United."
When asked if Ronaldo is looking sharp, Fred said: "Of course, yeah! He is an amazing player, you know the difference when you look at Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is in line to make his second United debut against Newcastle at Old Trafford on Saturday, although it is unclear whether Solskjaer will unleash him from the start or as a substitute.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the Red Devils boss said: "[Ronaldo] has been good. He can speak for himself but he seems happy to be back as well. The mood's been very good, working well and we're looking forward to Saturday.
