Chelsea insist Roman Abramovich is not interested in selling the club despite fresh speculation of a possible takeover bid by Czech billionaire Petr Kellner.
In June, Abramovich resisted an approach by Britain’s richest man, Jim Ratcliffe, and this week has brought reports in the Czech Republic and Russia that Kellner could now make a move.
Forbes estimate Kellner’s net worth to be in excess of $13bn and sources in Russia also suggest he has a VIP box at Chelsea.

He has been in business with Abramovich as a joint shareholder in the Russian minerals firm Evraz.
The spokeswoman of Kellner’s PPF Group, Zuzana Migdalova, did not deny the speculation and told Sportsmail: ‘We do not comment on rumours.’
However, senior sources at Chelsea insisted that Abramovich does not want to sell the club and is not planning talks to initiate a sale.
