Barcelona legend Jordi Alba is set to leave the club this summer after 11 years at the Nou Camp.
The 34-year-old’s contract with the newly crowned LaLiga champions was not set to expire until the summer of 2024.
However reports in Spain have suggested that Barcelona are due to announce that Alba will leave at the end of the season and by doing so has agreed to terminate his contract one-year early.
There had been reports earlier this season that the club were looking to push Alba out the door prematurely due to the financial issues at the club.
It marks the end of an era with Alba following Sergio Busquets who is also due to leave the club at the end of the season.
