Arsenal: Has Arteta found a winning formula for Gunners?
Arsenal have not had the best start to the season, with the Gunners currently occupying 13th spot in the Premier League, but they have shown signs of finding some form in recent weeks. After a seven game run without a win in the league, they have managed to win their last two matches against Chelsea and Brighton.
Despite starting to turn things around on the pitch, there are reportedly still some off-field issues that manager Mikel Arteta needs to deal with.
According to the Mirror, one player recently confronted Arteta in front of other members of the squad about why some players are treated differently to others.
The confrontation is said to have taken place during a tense team meeting.
Arsenal do have a bloated playing squad and a number of stars have not featured much this season, despite others playing regularly while not delivering.

Arteta has admitted that Arsenal’s main goal in January is to ship out some of those fringe players, telling a press conference on Thursday: “Well, we have a large squad. We knew that.
“A lot of things that should have happened in the summer we could not accomplish them for different reasons.
“There are a lot of players that are going to go on loan.
“They are going to leave.

“And that’s the priority at the moment because we cannot sustain the numbers that we have in certain positions.
“We are looking to do that.
“And then we will see if we have the right opportunities in the positions that we need some more help we are working with the club to try to address them.
“We need to be careful with that. Obviously financially it’s not only us, it’s every club in the Premier League that have been in hit with big numbers.
“We know that this is not going to change in the last year or so.
“That we are gonna have to add somehow if we’re going to improve the team in different ways financially with some support.
“And we will decide whether this is with loans or buying players in relation to the opportunities we will have in the market.”
Arsenal have already begun this process, with left-back Sead Kolasinac returning to former club Schalke on loan until the end of the season.
