Accrington Stanley owner Andy Holt has slammed Wrexham as "out of order" following their ticket spat on social media.
Wrexham were beaten 2-0 by Accrington over the weekend, but there was more talk about what happened away from the pitch. Accrington announced they would be increasing their ticket prices for all 5,261 fans in attendance – 2,587 of whom made the 75 mile trip up from Wrexham – from £20 to £25.
And the Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned side took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to announce that they would be reducing their prices by £5 for the return fixture at the Racecourse Ground.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Holt fumed: "I’ve got nothing against Wrexham, Hollywood owners and the rest of it.
“But if they think they’re going to get their kicks by tweeting about my club and one of the smallest clubs in the league just because they find themselves in a good space, then it’s not going to work.

“You don’t want any aggro before the match starts. There’s an unwritten rule, you don’t put anything out that inflammatory because you’re trying to keep a lid on it during the match. If they’d done it after the match, I wouldn’t have responded.”
And when asked if he was unhappy with Wrexham’s tweet, he said: “I thought it was out of order. Listen, don’t worry, I did tell them.”
Holt had also vented his fury on X, posting: "Accrington 2 Hollywood 0. I think Ryan Reynolds should cut prices by a tenner. Safe journey home folks, get that on Netflix, Ryan lad."
