As many as 15 players could leave Manchester United in the next two windows with Erik ten Hag planning a major squad clear out.
The Dutchman has been a busy bee in the transfer market since arriving at Old Trafford, spending just shy of £400million on new arrivals in an attempt to turn United back into a European powerhouse. And there's little sign he'll be taking his foot of the gas either, particularly with the imminent arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
In order to make room for new additions, much of the squad will need to be gutted. Jadon Sancho is expected to be the first departure following his heated bust-up with Ten Hag earlier in the season, but he isn't the only senior star on the chopping block.

Reports of Raphael Varane making a shock summer exit emerged this week, with United keen to get the injury-prone Frenchman, who earns a whopping £340,000-a-week, off their books. Ratcliffe is reportedly eager to revamp United's transfer policy following a series of expensive, ageing arrivals in the past few years, and Varane could be the first of a number of senior departures in the coming windows.
Antony, who has been at the club for less than a season-and-a-half, could also be axed. The Brazilian has barely lived up to his gigantic price tag and the club are considering cutting their losses with a summer sale.
How many of these 15 players do you think will leave in 2024? Let us know in the comments section below.
Mason Greenwood, who is currently on loan at La Liga side Getafe, is expected to move on, with United admitting he wouldn't play for the club again back in August. Fringe players like Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Tom Heaton are also set to be scrapped, while Jonny Evans isn't expected to be handed an extension on the one-year deal he signed in June.
There are also no plans to retain the services of either Sofyan Amrabat or Sergio Reguilon, both of whom are currently on loan at Old Trafford, despite the fact United have an option-to-buy clause on Amrabat. The Moroccan international hasn't been performing well enough to warrant renewed interest, while Reguilon is likely to lose his spot to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia once they return from injury.

Several youth players are expected to be sold too with United looking to raise as much money as possible to fund yet another summer splurge. Brandon Williams, who is on loan at Ipswich, is nailed on to leave in the summer, and the likes of Alvaro Fernandez, Shola Shoretire, Will Fish and Joe Hugill could follow him out the door.
Fans will want all areas of the pitch reinforced given the torrid start to the season United have made, but the focus is expected to be on defence and attack. Varane's departure will mean a new centre back is needed, while a couple of forwards will be necessary should both Sancho and Antony leave the club.
