New Zealand survived a late onslaught from England to escape Twickenham with a narrow 16-15 win following an absorbing contest.
England took an early 15-0 lead after tries from Chris Ashton and Dylan Hartley, with Owen Farrell nailing a drop goal in a serious purple patch for the hosts.
A try just on half time from fullback Damian McKenzie narrowed the gap to 15-10 at the break, with Beauden Barrett giving the All Blacks a narrow one-point advantage in the second half after a drop goal and a penalty.
England threw everything at the visitors in the closing moments, and thought they had crossed for the match-winning try after Sam Underhill touched down following a Courtney Lawes block-down.
However, the TMO ruled that Lawes was offside and although boos rang out around Twickenham, the All Blacks held on for a valuable win.
