Jake Paul's mum suspects Tommy Fury isn't really injured and used "fake scans" to get out of their fight this weekend.
The British boxer, who was set to go one-on-one with Paul this weekend, was forced to withdraw earlier this month after breaking a rib during training and suffering illness.
Naturally, Paul insisted his opponent was simply running scared, prompting Fury to produce an X-ray to prove the legitimacy of his injury – though Jake's mother Pam Stepnick says she still has her doubts.
"I'm glad he showed a scan [to prove he was injured], but for all I know they're fake scans," she told iFL TV.
"I was unhappy. I really wanted Jake to fight Tommy because of all the back-and-forth."
Pam added that she wasn't surprised when her son's opponent pulled out and accused him of hiding behind his dad during their recent pre-fight press conference.
"When you get down to it, [Tommy] didn't show up to the first press conference and then the other press conference it was just his Dad," she said.
"I don't know why he was doing the talking, he's not the fighter.
"Tommy wasn't saying anything so he did seem overwhelmed and a little bit afraid so I don't know."

Fury insists he still wants to fight Paul when he's fit and healthy, but whether the bout will be rescheduled remains to be seen, with Paul hinted that the 22-year-old has missed his opportunity.
Following his withdrawal, former MMA fighter Tyron Woodley stepped in as Fury's replacement.
Woodley and Paul faced each other four months ago, with Paul claiming a narrow victory via split decision.
