F1 ace Esteban Ocon was sick in his helmet during a sweltering Qatar Grand Prix.
The Frenchman registered an impressive seventh placed finish to bring his points tally for the seaosn up to 44.. Unfortunately, that was not the only thing he brought up, as the Alpine driver admitted he emptied his insides while he was still wearing his helmet.
He was not the only one who felt under the weather, as rookie driver Logan Sargent retired through illness and had to be helped out of his car. Mercedes ace George Russell, who collided with Lewis Hamilton at the first corner, also said he felt like he was going to faint in the searing 33 degree temperatures. While drivers were struggling everywhere, Ocon’s predicament may have been the most sickly.

"I was throwing up yeah, for two laps I think,” Ocon said after the race. “I was like 's*** – sorry for swearing – it was going to be a long one'. I tried to focus on exactly what I had to do but I've never had that in the past.
"I've always been able to do a full race distance. Today it was just the hot air and how hot the engine was behind the car. It must have been like 80 degrees in the car today."

Usually, drivers find the Singapore Grand Prix to be the most challenging when it comes to the temperatures. However, the Asian circuit may have been bumped down a peg or two by the challenging conditions at the Lusail International Circuit.
"I think everybody [struggled], no exceptions,” Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who finished in fifth place, added. “I think it was the toughest race of our careers as drivers.
"The heat was absolutely crazy. Secondly, we've got a lot of high-speed corners. And, third, which I think is the most significant thing, is adding three stops."
