The impact broke his front right wing, and forced Leclerc to jump out the car and head back to the garage.

The Monegasque driver shouted down the radio: ‘Why the f*** am I so unlucky? Why the f*** am I so unlucky?’

The start of the race was certainly an eventful one as after Leclerc crashed out there was an incident heading into the first corner.
Contact between three cars straight from the start caused carnage at the first corner and left debris strewn all across the track and damage to the barriers which needed to be repaired.
Both Alpine’s Alex Albon and Haas driver Kevin Magnussen picked up damage during the clash and are out of the race.
Meanwhile Oscar Piastri broke his rear wing, but managed to fix his car to carry on during the enforced break.
Daniel Ricciardo also saw his car damaged, however the AlphaTauri garage managed to get the car back on the grid for the restart.
Max Verstappen is set to secure another win as he remains on pole after excellently winning the sprint race.
