Week 2 Fantasy Flex Rankings for Superflex, 2-QB leagues

Last week was proof that our Week 2 fantasy superflex rankings need to account for even the unappealing QBs. Of the top 50 fantasy scorers in Week 1, 23 were quarterbacks, according to fantasydata.com (which is always why many leagues are going with a 2-QB lineup format). There are certainly reasons to be worried about the real bottom-of-the-barrel QBs in Week 2, like Ryan Fitzpatrick against the Bills and Sam Darnold against the 49ers, but in general, playing a second QB in a superflex league provides you with a safe floor, if nothing else.

It’s important to remember that it doesn’t take much for quarterbacks to surprise with big games. Teddy Bridgewater just needed one long TD to Robby Anderson to make his day, and Bridgewater was a bit unlucky to only throw one TD while throwing for 270 yards as his team put up 30 points. Even without a ton else going right for Bridgewater, he outscored Anderson through sheer volume.

We’ve also included our Week 2 QB rankings below, in case you’ve come here looking for 2-QB lineup strategy. Our quarterback rankings don’t differ if your league requires you to start two instead of one, but if you have a choice, it’s worth considering some of the risk factors that we discussed in our Week 2 QB rankings article.
