Texas Tech QB Alan Bowman knocked out of game by errant halftime throw

Texas Tech quarterback Alan Bowman just got knocked out of the Red Raiders’ matchup with Oklahoma.

Quite literally.

The Red Raider signal caller was hit in the head with an errant football during warmups at halftime and was sent to the locker room for further evaluation.

Apparently Texas Tech’s starting QB Alan Bowman was “hit by a football while warming up at halftime” and is not playing to start the 2nd half. He is being evaluated in the locker room. Tech is up 31-28 over Oklahoma.

It was soon announced he would not return to the game.
