This is the quarterback matchup NFL fans have wanted to see in the playoffs for a long time.
It's interesting that it took Tom Brady heading to the NFC to make it happen, but fans should be thrilled, nonetheless.
Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers are headed to Green Bay to face Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in the NFC Championship game to determine who will go on to represent the conference in Super Bowl 55 in Tampa.
The Packers (14-3) enter the game as the No. 1 seed in the NFC, while the Buccaneers (13-5) come into the showdown as the NFC's No. 5 seed.
While most are anticipating the Brady-Rodgers matchup, the reality is that quarterback duels are rarely as important as other aspects of the game. But at the very least, it should be thrilling to watch.

What are the keys for the Buccaneers?
Get all the playmakers involved on offense, score TDs in the red zone, stop the run and create takeaways. Brady hit eight receivers and RBs Leonard Fournette and Ronald Jones rushed for 125 yards in the divisional win in New Orleans. When these teams met in Week 6, Tampa Bay scored four TDs on four red-zone trips, turning a tight game into a 38-10 blowout. The defense created two game-changing interceptions of Rodgers among four turnovers. The plan must start with stopping Green Bay’s run game, the foundational piece of head coach Matt LaFleur’s offense.
What are the keys for the Packers?
Green Bay used a highly efficient passing game, dominant situational offense and opportunistic defensive moments to earn the No. 1 seed. The keys don’t change against Tampa Bay. Rodgers must make good decisions and find ways to better distribute the ball to playmakers, especially WR Davante Adams. On third down and in the red zone, the Packers must be close to flawless against an active, disruptive defense. On defense, Green Bay’s pass rush and secondary must have a symbiotic relationship.
What is the matchup to watch?
Buccaneers LB Devin White vs. Packers RB Aaron Jones. White played a leading role in stuffing Jones in the first meeting and had an interception and a fumble recovery Sunday against the Saints. The Packers have to get Jones going in the running and passing games.
