Philadelphia vs. Carolina updates: Live NFL game scores, results for Sunday

Carolina didn’t have too many spare points in their match with Philadelphia on Sunday, but they still walked away with a 21-17 victory.

Carolina struggled in the first half and ended with zero points. As for Philadelphia, they scored ten to put Carolina at a 0-10 disadvantage heading into the break. The Carolina offense took control in the second half, however, scoring 21 points.

No one put up better numbers for Carolina than Cam Newton, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 269 yards and 2 touchdowns. If you haven’t heard Newton’s name lately, then you haven’t been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past six games. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse Luke Kuechly, who racked up 12 tackles.

The win bumped Carolina’s record up to 4-2. Philadelphia’s loss pushes them down to 3-4.

Carolina will take on Baltimore at home at 1:00 p.m. next week. As for Philadelphia, they will go up against Jacksonville. These teams are both seeking redemption after dropping matches that they were favored to win.
