Joel Embiid and Pistons center Andre Drummond have a competitive history that has mostly been owned by Embiid.
The Sixers big man averages 27.8 points and 9.8 rebounds to Drummond’s 13 and 12 in their head-to-head matchups. It’s gotten to the point where Embiid openly claims that Drummond can’t guard him.
He waited little time to remind Drummond about that on Tuesday – and he did so often.
Following each basket against Drummond, Embiid would shout “you know you can’t guard me.” It was audible on the game broadcast.
