Another day, another injury in Pittsburgh, and James Washington is the latest casualty.
According to NFL Media, which cited an unidentified source, the Steelers receiver is expected to miss “a few weeks” with a shoulder injury suffered in Sunday’s overtime loss to the Ravens.
A second-round pick of the Steelers in 2018, Washington had a season-high 52 receiving yards on three catches Sunday. He has nine catches for 140 yards on the season.
Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph and receiver Jaylen Samuels were also injured Sunday against the Ravens, and both could be missing in action for multiple weeks. Ironically, Washington sustained his injury while catching a 26-yard pass on the play when Rudolph was knocked unconscious by Ravens safety Earl Thomas.
