Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was shown fist-bumping everyone like a 12-year-old hopped up on FunDip and Monster Energy drinks following the selection of defensive tackle Milton Williams in Round 3 of the 2021 NFL Draft on Friday.
Owner Jeffrey Lurie and head coach Nick Sirianni seemed pleased enough, but when Roseman got to senior Eagles scout Tom Donahoe, Donahoe didn’t exactly reciprocate the good vibes on the dap.
Donahoe seemed to let Roseman in on some unfortunate news, or a difference of opinion, causing Roseman to look incredulous.
The Eagles were on the move multiple times in Round 3, trading down twice and ultimately selecting Williams with the No. 73 overall pick.
Disagreements tend to happen on draft night, but Eagles brass has been the subject of several reports in recent months that painted a picture of dysfunction within the front office.

The Eagles followed up their Round 1 selection of game-breaking wideout DeVonta Smith with Day 2 picks of center Landon Dickerson in the second round and Williams in the third.
Ah, the NFL Draft.
