Dolphins vs. Texans: Time, TV channel, how to watch online

A pair of teams with winning records will go head-to-head when the Dolphins face the Texans in Houston to start Week 8 of the NFL season on “Thursday Night Football.”

After losing its first three games to start the season, Houston (4-3) has won four in a row and is alone in first place in the AFC South. Its defense has been stellar lately, holding opponents to just 36 points over the last three games. Quarterback Deshaun Watson has been inconsistent but has thrown for 300-plus yards in four games this year.

Miami (4-3) seems to be heading in the opposite direction, having lost three of its last four games. Wide receiver DeVante Parker, who has missed five games this season, is expected to play Thursday despite an apparent ongoing dispute with coach Adam Gase.

Both teams sit in the upper half of their respective division standings, with the Texans nursing a one-game lead over the Jaguars and Titans, and the Dolphins just one game behind the Patriots for first place.
