The Bengals’ decision to sign Orlando Brown has had a possible unintended consequence.
Left tackle Jonah Williams has requested a trade out of Cincinnati, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Friday. It is unclear at this time if the Bengals are willing to move on from Williams, whom they selected 11th-overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Williams has started 47 games including playoffs in his career, but he missed this past AFC Divisional Round and Championship Game due to a knee injury suffered in a wild-card win over the Ravens.
Around The NFL will have more on Williams’ request shortly.
