Jake Paul warned he would be KO’d by Conor McGregor’s training partner

Jake Paul has been warned that he would take a loss against Bellator fighter Dillon Danis, who is a close friend and training partner of Conor McGregor.

Danis has been nursing an injury that has kept him out of the cage for almost two years, and has been engaged in a long-running feud with Paul and his brother Logan.

The pair almost came to blows in LA late last year when Paul interrupted an interview between Danis and former UFC star Brendan Schaub by throwing toilet paper at the BJJ black belt.

And now Danis has been tipped to stop the YouTube star in the boxing ring by fellow Bellator fighter Peter Queally.

Queally, who recently defeated Patricky 'Pitbull' Freire to propel himself up the lightweight rankings in the MMA promotion, has been in New York since defeating the number two contender earlier this month.

And while in Danis' hometown, the pair got to sparring, with Queally revealing that the American has improved his striking to such a degree that he could beat Paul, who is an undefeated 3-0 pro boxer with three KOs.

"Hadn’t sparred Dillon Danis in ages and honestly was just gassing him up about the Jake Paul fight the past few months because he is my friend," Queally posted to his 250k+ Instagram followers.

"This is exactly what you should be doing by the way, if your friends aren’t gassing you up every chance they get then they aren’t your friends.

"But anyway, after what I witnessed from him today, I have now seen enough empirical evidence to say he beats Jake in a boxing match.

"Set it up!"

Paul reportedly offered Danis a career-high purse to fight in March, but due to injury the BJJ star had to turn the fight down, which drew the ire of the Ohio native.

Instead, Paul took on former Olympian and Bellator champion Ben Askren, whose 19-2 MMA record is much more impressive than Danis', stopping him within two minutes of the first round.

However, Danis now claims that he is now returning to his best, and has called for the fight to be rescheduled, which the Paul brothers have poured cold water on recently.

But the YouTuber just signed with Showtime boxing, which could be a blessing for Danis whose promotion Bellator MMA are also broadcast on the station in the US.

Paul has recently entertained the possibility of an exhibition match with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, similar to the one in which his brother is taking part this summer.

Logan will face the 50-0 pound-for-pound great Mayweather at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on June 6, but the headlines at their press conference were stolen by Jake when he instigated a brawl with his brother's opponent.

Ultimately though, Jake appears to be forging a slightly more legitimate career in boxing, and Danis would seem to be a more logical next step for his pro career.
