Updated MLB spring training sites, workout facilities for 2020 season

Now that Major League Baseball has finalized plans to conduct a 60-game season, the first step is getting players back in game shape. 

Under terms of the agreement finalized on June 23, MLB teams will have players report to their home parks by July 1 for a second "spring training," which will last roughly three weeks. They will play a handful of exhibition games before the regular season starts on July 23 or 24.

Teams will be allowed a pool of up to 60 players, with 30 on the major-league roster to start the season and the rest available on a "taxi squad" to serve as replacements due to injuries or other factors. 

Here's the latest on where each MLB team plans to have its players and taxi squads work out:

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Baltimore Orioles: Main camp at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, alternate TBA.

Boston Red Sox: Main camp at Fenway Park, alternate TBA but possibly at Boston College.

Chicago White Sox: Main camp at Guaranteed Rate Field, alternate TBA.

Cleveland Indians: Main camp at Progressive Field, alternate camp expected to be at Classic Park (Eastlake, Ohio), home of Class-A Lake County Captains.

Detroit Tigers: All players will be at the main camp at Comerica Park, with taxi squad players in Toledo, home of the Class-AAA Toledo Mud Hens, once season starts.

Houston Astros: Main camp at Minute Maid Park, alternate camp TBA.

Kansas City Royals: Main camp at Kauffman Stadium, alternate camp TBA but possibly at "different facilities throughout Kansas City," according to GM Dayton Moore.

Los Angeles Angels: Main camp at Angel Stadium, alternate camp likely at a local baseball complex.

Minnesota Twins: Main camp at Target Field, alternate camp TBA.

New York Yankees: Main camp at Yankee Stadium, alternate camp TBA.

Oakland A's: Main camp at Oakland Coliseum, alternate camp possibly at Banner Island Ballpark (Stockton, Calif.), home of the High-A Stockton Ports.

Seattle Mariners: Main camp at T-Mobile Park, alternate camp at Cheney Stadium (Tacoma, Wash.), home of the Class-AAA Tacoma Rainiers.

Tampa Bay Rays: Main camp at Tropicana Field.

Texas Rangers: Main camp at the new Globe Life Field, alternate camp at their former home, Globe Life Park, just across the street.

Toronto Blue Jays: The Blue Jays won't be able to use Rogers Centre because of Canada's restrictions on travel to and from the U.S. Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., has been mentioned as a possibility, as has the home of the Jays' AAA team in Buffalo.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Arizona Diamondbacks: Main camp at Chase Field, alternate camp will be at Salt River Fields, the team's spring training home in Scottsdale, Ariz. (All spring training facilities are currently closed for a thorough cleaning.)

Atlanta Braves: Main camp at Truist Park, alternate camp TBA.

Chicago Cubs:  Main camp at Wrigley Field, alternate camp TBA but possibly at Four Winds Field (South Bend, Ind.), home of the Class-A South Bend Cubs.

Cincinnati Reds: Main camp at Great American Ballpark, alternate camp at Prasco Park (Mason, Ohio).

Colorado Rockies: Main camp at Coors Field, alternate camp TBA.

Los Angeles Dodgers: Main camp at Dodger Stadium, alternate camp TBA.

Miami Marlins:  Main camp at Marlins Park, alternate camp TBA.

New York Mets: Main camp for all members of the 40-man roster at Citi Field.

Philadelphia Phillies: Main camp at Citizens Bank Park, alternate camp expected to be at Coca-Cola Park (Allentown, Pa.), home of the Class-AAA Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.

Pittsburgh Pirates: Main camp at PNC Park, alternate at PNG Field (Altoona, Pa.), home of Class-AA Altoona Curve.

San Diego Padres: Main camp at Petco Park, alternate camp likely to be at the University of San Diego.

San Francisco Giants: Main camp at Oracle Park, alternate camp TBA.

St. Louis Cardinals: Main camp at Busch Stadium, alternate camp at Hammons Field (Springfield, Mo.), home of the Class-AA Springfield Cardinals.

Washington Nationals: Main camp at Nationals Park, although the team hasn't yet received official clearance to return.
