The Mets have set their asking price for Noah Syndergaard.
New York wants “multiple top prospects” in exchange for the 26-year-old starter, according to a report from SNY, which cites unidentified league sources.
Syndergaard has regressed this season as he holds a 6-4 record with a 4.68 ERA in 17 starts. He was an All-Star as a 23-year-old in 2016 and holds a 3.23 ERA over 104 career MLB appearances.
“When I get on the mound, it’s pretty much me against me,” Syndergaard told reporters last week, via the New York Post. “My biggest crutch is being able to repeat my delivery. I can’t stay consistent.”
