Ryan Moore has four rides on the first day of Doncaster’s St Leger meeting and faces an intriguing clash with Dragon Leader, who he rode to victory at York last month.
He also partners Boogie Woogie in the feature Betfred Park Hill Fillies’ Stakes and the daughter of Dubawi should improve on from her last appearance at Cork.
Here, Betfair ambassador Moore goes through his four rides on Thursday.

Johannes Brahms
Giving 10lb to Dragon Leader, who I rode when he was a very impressive winner at York, could be problematical but Johannes Brahms clearly has a leading form chance. This will be the softest ground he has raced on after they got a lot of rain earlier in the week, but hopefully it will dry up now and he will be okay, as his Gimcrack second is clearly the best single piece form on offer here.

Les Bleus
Darnation looks the obvious one in here but all her rivals are winners and several have the potential to give her a race. My filly Les Bleus has a shot on her fourth in a Group 2 in France over 7f on heavy ground last time, and her previous third to Fallen Angel in the Sweet Solera looks better now, and hopefully the extra furlong won’t be an issue.

Boogie Woogie
This is another difficult race to call but Boogie Woogie had good form in deep ground earlier in the season, including in Group 1 company, and hopefully you will see a sharper, better filly than you did at Cork off a break last time. This longer trip is well worth a go, and she has the form to figure prominently if she stays.

Westerton
He obviously didn’t run up to his best when stepped up to 1m4f in bad ground at Goodwood last time but he had form over this lesser trip on soft earlier in the season, and a mark of 93 can still see him be competitive here on a track he has run a couple of fair races on.
