Herald Sun form analyst Leo Schlink runs the rule over the Mornington program as he looks to kickstart the week in style.

Ploughed through heavy conditions to lead most of the way and win comfortably over this course and trip. Rated highly by its stable.

VIOLINIST (Race 3, No 12, $1.60)

Has been smashed in betting into an almost unbackable quote on the back of last start Group 3 third when raced erratically. Spelled since and blinkers and stallion chain removed for this race.

BOBSLED (Race 4, No 9, $2.40)

Raced greenly on debut at Murtoa and only just caught. Certain to be improved.

HUMMALONG (Race 7, No 6, $3.80)

Racing in great form for a proven trainer-jockey combination. Will be hard to run down again.
