Early birdies for Minjee Lee
Minjee Lee has started her third round with a couple of crackers this morning, with a birdie on her first two holes of the day.
She’s still seven shots behind leader Jiyai Shin, but hopefully it’s a sign of great things to come.

Over in the men’s competition, veteran Adam Bland and American Sean Crocker have given the chasing pack hope with six-under-par third-round 66s to close in on red-hot Australian Open leader Min Woo Lee.

Albatross alert
Teenage amateur Ann Jang has recorded a rare albatross in a spectacular start to the Australian Open third round in Sydney.
Jang holed her second shot at the par-5 first hole at The Australian Golf Club on Saturday to leap from three over to even par for the championship in one fell swoop.
A member of the nearby NSW club in La Perouse, 16-year-old Jang is the latest amateur to announce their arrival on the big stage this week, rocketing up to a share of 11th on the leaderboard midway through her third round.

There’s a bit to catch up on after the first two days of competition out at The Australian and The Lakes, but here’s what you need to know:
Everyone’s favourite chef, Min Woo Lee, is three clear at the top of the men’s leaderboard on -12, while South Korean Jiyai Shin is leading the women on -9.
The question on everyone’s lips heading into day three is, how is Min Woo Lee so good? And can he keep it up?
Like in the 2007 Disney masterpiece Ratatouille, does Min Woo Lee have a tiny mouse/chef under his hat controlling his every move and helping him achieve greatness? Or is he just extremely talented and finding his stride at the right time?
