Jake Paul claims Floyd Mayweather and his team of ’50 dudes’ tried to jump him

Jake Paul has challenged Floyd Mayweather to a one-on-one fight after claiming that '50 dudes' tried to jump him in Miami.

The 6-1 professional boxer bumped into the 50-0 former pro after the Miami Heat NBA game at the Miami-Dade Arena on Wednesday evening (March 8), before fleeing after a group of people seemed to approach him.

In a video posted by TMZ, Paul can be seen running after the pair exchanged words outside the arena, with security separating them throughout.

Paul appeared to look to his left where cars were moving, choosing to get himself away from the situation before taking to Instagram.

He said: "So I'm leaving the Miami Heat game and Floyd Mayweather and 50 dudes pull up out of nowhere, out of like some side alley, waiting for me outside the stadium, and they're like, 'So what's up? what's all that talk now?'

"I'm like first of all, what did I say to you Floyd? I just took your hat and you're still mad about it? Come on, bro. And then 50 dudes literally start surrounding me to jump me, and I'm out that b**ch, ok?"

Paul later tweeted: "Floyd if you want to fight 1 on 1 we can do that but don’t try to hop out of 3 cars 25 dudes deep tryna to jump me while I’m tryna enjoy my Wednesday night."

The pair famously clashed before Mayweather took on his brother Logan Paul in an exhibition bout in 2021, with Jake stealing his hat before getting punched.

With the 26-year-old set to have a rematch with Tommy Fury following his split decision defeat in their Saudi Arabia bout last month, Mayweather has now emerged as a potential opponent.

The 46-year-old announced this week that he will fight in five countries across nine months in 2023, having taking on Aaron Chalmers at the O2 Arena in London last month.

Paul then teased a future bout by adding: "You wanna run it one on one, no problem. But I'm not dumb. Okay? I'm tough, I don't need to prove my toughness, but I'm not f**king dumb. I'm not gonna sit there and try to fight 50 dudes.
