- Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has now teased an announcement for the fight
Promoter Frank Warren has hinted that Tyson Fury’s undisputed heavyweight showdown with Oleksandr Usyk will be announced imminently.
Fury and Usyk have been in negotiations for the mega-fight on April 29 at Wembley Stadium in recent weeks, but there have been a number of stumbling blocks that have left fans doubting whether it would actually happen.
As recently as Saturday, Usyk’s team declared they were ready to move on if a deal wasn’t reached soon, but Warren has now suggested on social media that everything is moving in the right direction and the fight will take place.
After watching his beloved Arsenal beat Crystal Palace on Sunday to extend their lead at the top of the table, Warren took to Twitter to post a cryptic message.
‘Arsenal 8 points clear! Even bigger news to come!’ he wrote.

Fans now believe the undisputed clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will go ahead
Fury and Usyk could be fewer than six weeks away from fighting each other at Wembley
It did not take long for fans to pick up on the tweet, and many feel it only means one thing.
‘It’s happening people, trust me,’ one fan posted, referring to how Fury-Usyk now looks likely to be made.
There was also plenty of love for Warren, who has insisted in recent days the fight would go ahead, and now appears to have finally got it over the line.
‘Frank Warren, the greatest promoter the UK has ever had!’ one supporter wrote.
Another added: ‘Uncle Frank has delivered yet again.’

One fan joked that the announcement could be a fourth fight between Fury and Derek Chisora
Not everyone was getting carried away, though, as one fan posted a tongue-in-cheek comment that Fury may be looking at an alternative opponent.
‘Fury-Chisora 4, can’t wait,’ they sarcastically claimed, after Fury ended his trilogy with his fellow Brit in emphatic fashion by delivering a one-sided beatdown in December.
Fury’s proposed clash with Usyk promises to be one of the biggest fights this century, and would crown a first four-belt world champion in the heavyweight division.
After weeks of back and forth between the pair, it looks like it will be given the green light and a final announcement could soon follow, with fewer than six weeks until they could finally face each other in the ring on April 29.
