Anderson Silva makes offer to Logan and Jake Paul after Tito Ortiz knockout

Anderson Silva has suggested Jake and Logan Paul should take up fights against him and fellow UFC legend Vitor Belfort next.

Silva returned to the ring last night as he picked up a first round stoppage win against fellow MMA veteran Tito Ortiz.

Belfort was also in action on the card. He boxed professionally for the first time since his debut in 2006, stopping ring legend Evander Holyfield at the top of the bill on Triller.

Silva was in talks to fight Logan Paul this month in Dubai, but the fight was never made official and Silva instead faced Ortiz.

But talking after his recent win, Silva suggested that the Paul brothers should fight him and Belfort next in the ring.

He said: "Jake Paul and his brother have a chance to fight with me and Vitor. You know, it's a good fight."

The Paul brothers have been at the forefront of celebrity boxing during its rise in the past year.

Jake Paul extended his unbeaten run to four fights when he defeated former UFC champion Tyron Woodley by split decision last month.

'The Problem Child' won fights against YouTuber AnEsongib, former NBA player Nate Robinson and the now-retired MMA veteran Ben Askren before his recent win.

Meanwhile, Logan Paul went the distance with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition fight this past June.

Whilst some are frustrated by the meteoric rise of the Paul brothers in the combat sports world, Silva respects what the two are doing.

He told TMZ Sports : “Everything is possible. Jake Paul and Logan are doing a lot of good job in this new entertaining show, and we’ll see. Everything is possible.

"I respect both. The kids are doing good and working hard to be successful in this entertainment show. And let’s go see. Maybe this is possible too.”

On the fight between him and Logan Paul falling through, he said: "I couldn't control that situation.

"I just have control over one thing and that's training hard and continuing to listen to my coach and learning more and more techniques and training with my partners."

Paul has previously stated his admiration for Silva and was stunned when he found out the UFC legend wanted to fight him.

He said: "The first celebrity I ever met and got a picture with was Anderson Silva, he was so famous, I was so excited, it was one of those where I was like 'look who I'm with!'

"When I was growing up I wanted to be Anderson Silva, I was like 'oh my God that guy is so bada**, I want to fight like him and be famous like him', and now he wants to fight me!"
