A feared COVID outbreak has hit South Australia at the worst possible time for Australia’s cricket stars.
On Monday night emergency plans were being made to get Australia’s short-form players out of the state to prepare for the first one-dayer against India on November 27 after a series of new COVID cases linked to Adelaide’s quarantine hotels.
The Adelaide Strikers are also planning to jet to Sydney to ensure the Big Bash starts on time — the Strikers’ first game is against the Hobart Hurricanes on December 13 — while plans for the First Test at Adelaide Oval could also be thrown into disarray.
One player at the centre of the storm is South Australian, Strikes and Australian one-day wicketkeeper Alex Carey,
He’ll be here from 2pm AEDT on Tuesday to answer your questions about the COVID crisis, the Indians, SuperCoach BBL and more. Leave your question below.
