MLB trade rumors: Mets want ‘multiple top prospects’ in exchange for Noah Syndergaard

The Mets have set their asking price for Noah Syndergaard.

New York wants “multiple top prospects” in exchange for the 26-year-old starter, according to a report from SNY, which cites unidentified league sources.

Syndergaard has regressed this season as he holds a 6-4 record with a 4.68 ERA in 17 starts. He was an All-Star as a 23-year-old in 2016 and holds a 3.23 ERA over 104 career MLB appearances.

“When I get on the mound, it’s pretty much me against me,” Syndergaard told reporters last week, via the New York Post. “My biggest crutch is being able to repeat my delivery. I can’t stay consistent.”
