Andy Ruiz Jr's trainer has outlined his concerns over travelling to Saudi Arabia for the rematch with Anthony Joshua.
Ruiz shocked the boxing world with his seventh-round stoppage of Joshua in June.
He wants the second installment to take place at the scene of the crime in New York, but Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn have opted for the desert.
Ruiz, however insists he won't travel to Saudi Arabia, and his trainer Manny Robles is in agreement.
“We are talking about a country that is not democratic, we are talking about a country in which there are no human rights and people leave to be in a more desirable place than a country like Saudi Arabia," Robles told Boxing Scene .
"What protection will there be for the champion? We cannot take our women, they tell me that it would be better if they stayed at home because over there it's as if they do not exist.
"We are talking about a country where the laws are different from the the ones that we are used to."
Joshua has yet to comment on the venue but both fighters are expected to attend press conferences in a fortnight.
Hearn has said Ruiz is contracted to fight at a venue of his and Joshua's choosing.
